Who We Are

Grassroots Animal Rescue works with animal shelters and local communities to rescue dogs that are in danger of being euthanized or abandoned or dogs that are otherwise in need. The animals stay in various foster homes until they go to permanent homes. GAR is an all volunteer, foster-based rescue in Starkville, Mississippi, serving North Mississippi and surrounding areas.

Grassroots Animal Rescue of Mississippi, Inc is a 501(c)3 non-profit charity and is recognized as a non-profit in good standing in the state of MS. All donations are tax-deductible.
